About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team in Ottawa. This position offers a unique blend of clinical nursing duties and administrative/leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and ready to contribute both on the front lines of patient care and behind the scenes in team coordination and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies. Administer medications, perform assessments, and support patients' care plans. Assist in supervising and mentoring healthcare staff, including scheduling and workflow coordination. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance monitoring. Support administrative functions such as record management, reporting, and communications. Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or community healthcare setting. Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written). Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and office software. Experience using Telus PS EMR is considered a strong asset. Demonstrated leadership or administrative experience is an advantage.
