WHAT\'S THE JOB?

The Supply Chain Specialist performs some or all the following duties:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the commercial and operational needs of the business.
  • Support and enforce safe supply chain ideology.
  • Work predominantly with our Supply Chain Support Services, but also link with other business units, regionally, to establish where synergies and economies of scale exist.
  • Participating in the seamless roll-out of category strategy initiatives across the organization that deliver results in-line with the category strategy.
  • Develop and maintain supplier contracts.
  • Bring forward ideas for process improvements as it relates to Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Support operational excellence across the organization related to supply chain initiatives.
  • Work with the business unit to proactively manage day-to-day processes and develop strategies for improvement.
  • French/English language required for regional comminications
  • Resolve issues and opportunities that have been escalated.
  • Reviewing long-term stock outs to implement a permanent solution.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Preferred Post-secondary education at an accredited University or College with a degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business or Commerce or commensurate experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and with a strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in foodservice operations required; 2 years supply chain (procurement/logistics) experience
  • Analytical and logical thinking ability as well as proven time management skills
  • Bilingual English/ French is required
