Bilingual Math Tutor (French and English)

to support students in mastering mathematical concepts across various levels. This role involves providing personalized instruction, explanations and feedback to the student. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and English and possess a strong background in mathematics and education. Experience working with diverse age groups, including children and adults, is highly valued. Responsibilities

Deliver engaging one-on-one tutoring sessions in mathematics, covering Grade 9 and Grade 10 math. Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs. Incorporate learning technology tools to facilitate interactive and effective instruction. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Support students with classroom management techniques to foster a productive learning environment. Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate progress and areas for improvement. Stay updated on educational best practices and continuously improve teaching skills through professional development.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various levels, Strong knowledge of math subjects Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learner needs. Experience working with children and adults across different educational backgrounds. Bilingual fluency in two languages to effectively communicate with a diverse student population. Must have a vehicle (willing to travel) Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or those requiring accommodations in early childhood or preschool settings. Strong organizational skills with the ability to assess student progress accurately and provide constructive feedback. Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
