Bilingual Logistics Specialist

MOBIA is currently recruiting a Bilingual Logistics Specialist in Montreal, Quebec. In this role, you will be responsible to for the end-to-end logistics & material management within a warehousing and production facility. To excel in this role, you must have experience with material management & logistics, and can identify & implement best practices for inventory management. You possess strong communications skills, ability to perform well under pressure, ability to multitask, and a high attention to detail.

Skills / Qualifications:

• 5+ years previous experience working in a Logistics Specialist role.
• Experience with material ordering, tracking, escalation & RMA processes.
• Experience with shipping & receiving of international shipments.
• Identify & implement best practices for inventory management.
• Monitor and improve logistics costs and plan.
• Coordinate complex white-glove delivery of high value equipment to customer sites; often requiring special handling such as large crews, boom truck, etc.
• Unload, inspect, verify & store incoming shipments using industry best practices.
• Prepare all outgoing shipments; ensuring proper packing and securing of shipments, obtaining best pricing from transportation partners, preparing required documentation, arranging for pickup/drop-off of shipment, tracking delivery, and escalating as required.
• Monitor inventory levels, and perform regular inventory counts as required.
• Complete housekeeping duties to maintain the warehouse in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
• Proficiency with MS-Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); and the ability to learn new systems and software programs.
• Completion of post-secondary education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in telecommunications environments an asset.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Experience driving a forklift an asset.
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
• Bilingual in English and French.
