Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality edge banding (Housing Construction Parts). They specialize in a niche field of housing construction products. In Canada, their products are used in kitchens.
As the business grows, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support to assist their sales operation and sales team.
Job Summary:
This Sales Support will be required to provide administrative and operational support for their sales team. You will be the first contact for customers and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this position is having great communication skills (must be fluent in English), organizational skills, and willing to work in a collaborative team environment.
This position is a temp to hired position.
Key Responsibilities for Sales Support:
Professionally process orders via phone and email.
Data entry for customer orders and their information, check inventory level..
Communicate with the production team to manage delivery time and make sure deliveries are on time.
Arrange product shipments, including scheduling pickups with courier companies.
Create and issue invoices and other related sales documents.
Provide general administrative support to sales representatives to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Other duties are assigned by management team.
Qualifications for Sales Support:
Diploma or degree from a post-secondary institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
More than 3 years of experience in customer service or a related administrative role.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.* Japanese language ability is a plus.
Customer focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with high attention to detail.
A proactive team player with a positive and professional attitude.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Exchange).
Valid Canadian driver's license.
