Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team at Lilian Hee-Karstadt, Desjardins Insurance in South Etobicoke. We are an independent Insurance Agency selling Desjardins Insurance products.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by helping them understand their insurance options and guiding them through the purchasing process. You will leverage your sales skills and market knowledge to build relationships, identify client needs, and offer tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up. Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options. Conduct outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities. Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential clients and promote insurance products. Negotiate terms and conditions of policies with clients to ensure satisfaction. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy lifecycle, from initial contact to renewal. Collaborate with team members to achieve overall sales goals and objectives. Utilize marketing techniques to create a sales pipeline

Experience

Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information. Experience in outside sales or retail sales is an advantage. Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions. Must be able to speak Chinese and excellent English Familiarity with telemarketing practices and negotiation techniques is beneficial.
Must be willing to sit for the OTL and LLQP insurance exams if not currently licensed

Pay: $34,400.00-$77,171.35 per year
