MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB


Remotely sell Medtronic's products within assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations. Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails Understand customer needs (manage and respond to customer concerns and problems)

Conclure des ventes et atteindre les quotas trimestriels. Identifier de nouvelles opportunites de vente par le biais de suivis de prospects entrants et d'appels et courriels sortants. Comprendre les besoins des clients (gerer et repondre aux preoccupations et problemes des clients).

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (may include the following and other duties may be assigned):



Remotely sells Medtronic's products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate. Provides input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies. Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services. Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems. Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives. Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up. Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory. Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians, administrators, and procurement departments. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare providers to ensure they understand product features and benefits. Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing client concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and product launches. Submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks. Attend virtual meetings, training, and conferences as required. Identify, develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate.

Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.

Works with sales, marketing and finance to structure complex contracts.

Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in sales processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area. Recommends changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

May influence parties within own job function at an operational level. Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation. Communicates with external customers and / or vendors, involving negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales.


Leadership and Talent Management:

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level sales professionals and / or support employees.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

Requires practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combined with sales experience. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Requires High School Diploma AND a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION



High School Diploma, or; Associate's degree, or; Bachelor's degree.

JOB EXPERIENCE



Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with a High School Diploma, or; Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with an associate's degree, or; Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a bachelor's degree.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES



Bilingual French/English Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory when needed.

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION



Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.

JOB EXPERIENCE



3+ years of experience in health care sales, sales in medical devices, capital equipment sales, surgical sales, in-hospital pharmaceuticals, sales, contracts, training, clinical, marketing, customer/tech services, customer education or other customer facing role/experience.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES



Practical knowledge of sales techniques, strategies & relationship building Demonstrated ability to work independently & drive results Documented sales success, preferably in B2B sales or health care Degree in biological science or business preferred Business planning skills Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel Demonstrated ability to grasp use of technology & applications (ie., iPad, SalesForce.com, SAP); PC literate Knowledge &/or experience with hospital, cath lab, physician settings Experience selling complex products over the phone

Responsable de la declaration des plaintes et des reactions indesirables aux medicaments (ADR). Identifier de nouvelles opportunites commerciales et etablir des relations avec les decideurs cles, y compris les medecins, les administrateurs et les services d'approvisionnement. Realiser des presentations, demonstrations et formations sur les produits aupres des professionnels de la sante pour assurer leur comprehension des caracteristiques et avantages. Offrir un service client exceptionnel, repondre aux preoccupations et assurer un haut niveau de satisfaction. Collaborer avec l'equipe marketing pour executer les activites promotionnelles et les lancements de produits. Soumettre des rapports de vente precis et ponctuels, des previsions et autres taches administratives. Participer a des reunions virtuelles, formations et conferences selon les besoins. Identifier, developper et conclure des pistes commerciales, et transmettre les pistes internes lorsque cela est approprie.

Peut diriger le travail d'autres professionnels des ventes de niveau inferieur ou gerer des processus de vente et/ou des comptes impliquant plusieurs membres de l'equipe. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES



CONNAISSANCES / FORMATION



Diplome d'etudes secondaires, ou Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC), ou Diplome universitaire (baccalaureat).

EXPERIENCE DE TRAVAIL



Minimum de 7 ans d'experience pertinente avec un diplome d'etudes secondaires, ou Minimum de 5 ans avec un diplome collegial, ou Minimum de 3 ans avec un baccalaureat.

COMPETENCES



Excellentes competences en communication orale et ecrite. Solides competences en negociation et en conclusion de ventes. Capacite a travailler de maniere autonome, gerer efficacement son temps et prioriser les taches. Maitrise des logiciels CRM et autres outils de vente. 3+ annees d'experience en vente dans le domaine de la sante, dispositifs medicaux, equipements, produits pharmaceutiques hospitaliers, contrats, formation, marketing, services techniques ou role en contact direct avec les clients.

COMPETENCES



Connaissance pratique des techniques de vente, strategies et developpement de relations. Capacite demontree a travailler de maniere autonome et a obtenir des resultats. Succes documente en vente, idealement en B2B ou dans le domaine de la sante. Competences en planification commerciale. Excellentes competences en communication et en presentation. Capacite a former et eduquer le personnel medical, les collegues et le personnel de soutien technique. Maitrise des technologies et applications (iPad, Salesforce.com, SAP); a l'aise avec l'informatique. Connaissance et/ou experience en milieu hospitalier, laboratoire de catheterisme, cabinet medical. Experience dans la vente de produits complexes par telephone.
