Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with both short-term objectives and long-term organizational goals. Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to support business growth. Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, employer branding, and key HR programs that attract and retain top talent. Develop and manage structured recruitment processes, including interviewing, testing, and advising managers on candidate selection. Analyze exit interviews and recommend actionable improvements. Design and deliver onboarding and training programs to prepare employees for success in their roles. Oversee compensation planning by conducting market pay analysis, job evaluations, budgeting, and implementing salary structure adjustments as needed. Support managers with performance management, coaching, employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Administer employee benefits programs, assess trends, and recommend competitive offerings to leadership. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations by maintaining policies, conducting investigations, and keeping accurate records. Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements. Maintain organized and accessible HR records and documentation systems. Lead and support HR team performance through ongoing feedback, development, and accountability. Contribute to company success by taking initiative and supporting broader organizational efforts as needed. Develop and implement new HR programs and continuous process improvements. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations including O. Reg 851 and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Degree in Human Resources or related field Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive People oriented and results driven Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics Knowledge of HR systems and databases Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-depth knowledge of labor law Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese Willingness to understand the company's operational processes and overall

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
