BILINGUAL RECOVERY AGENTSchedule: Monday to Friday (9am to 5:30pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm)
100% in office

The Recovery Agent handles the recovery/repossession of moveable assets such as cars, trains, boats and planes.
Financial institutions finance these assets, once a customer defaults, and when all collection activities fail, it comes to us for repossession.
We ensure the repossession is in line with PPSA. The Recovery Agent gets the market value of the vehicle.
They apply the costs for storage, transport, bailiff, search fees, and so on and make a decision on whether it is worth the repossession or not (equity threshold).There is an extensive in class 7 day training period and 30 days of side by side training after that.

  • Manage supply chain and other parties at a transactional level in the repossession and liquidation of moveable assets, of assigned client portfolio applying the PPSA rules (Seize and Sue rules, redemption and reinstatement rules, Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act etc.) and pertinent regulatory rules of the Recovery process.
  • Provide value based recommendations to our clients and ensure all client request are appropriately handled with the highest degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Investigate accounts that have been assigned, verify documents Conditional Sales Contracts, Chattel Mortgages, registers/amends Liens to ensure creditor\'s right to enforce seizure. Perform asset equity analysis while also applying seize or sue guidelines
  • Create and maintain and update customer files in internal applications ensuring accuracy and detail while acting as the primary liaison between Creditor and repossession agents.
  • Manage and guide the creditor\'s customer through the redemption process and process funds accordingly as per established guidelines.
About You
  • Completion of Grade 12 minimum; post-secondary education considered an asset
  • Ability to multi-task to ensure service delivery expectations are met
  • Demonstrated experience and strong ability with Microsoft Office products, including knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work by meeting deadlines and client expectations
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain the highest level of productivity and quality level
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset
