Under the supervision of the Dean, the First Nations, Metis and Inuit (FNMI) Community Relations Coordinator leads and supports the development, operational implementation, and delivery of FNMI Indigenous initiatives at Campus Saint-Jean, advancing the objectives outlined in the University of Alberta's Indigenous Strategic Plan, "Weaving Past, Present, and Future." This role provides strategic advice and leadership to the Dean and the executive team on Indigenous issues, including cultural programming, student engagement, academic support, and strengthening community relationships. The incumbent also collaborates with university partners to ensure alignment with institutional priorities related to truth and reconciliation, equity, and inclusion.
