Job Description
Brandt Developments Ltd. is looking for a bilingual Facilities Dispatcher for our Regina, SK location. This position is responsible for dispatching internal facilities staff and third-party vendors to conduct repairs, perform maintenance and provide new equipment installations. Primarily responsible for customer support by responding to building or property related requests in a timely and efficient manner. Ensures jobs are completed on scope and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize active listening skills to assess the urgency of requests that come in and respond accordingly.
- Manage workorders for your assigned region working closely with the Facility Manager assigned.
- Create and issue purchase orders, communicate between tenants and vendors as jobs progress.
- Maintain a strong focus on problem-solving, organization and preventative and regulatory building maintenance schedules.
- Contribute to and follow standard operating procedures and business processes.
- Understand and advocate for a safe working environment.
- Support Facility Managers within their assigned region(s) with purchase order approvals, vendor quotations, new vendor account setups.
- Maintain property records.
- Other duties as assigned.
