Purpose
Contribute to the overall success of the Global Wealth Management Marketing department by meeting specific individual goals and ensure that plans and initiatives are executed/delivered fulfilling business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities are conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. .

Accountabilities

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the success of the global division:
  • Effectively manage multiple projects of varying scope, strategic impact and complexity and deliver projects on strategy, on time and on budget.
  • Work with the broader Global team on initiatives that comprise international markets.
  • Provide strategic support to the global content strategy and manage the content development process for international.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external providers to ensure appropriate language and tone, and proper positioning across all distribution channels.
  • Drive internal support for the Scotia Wealth Management and Scotia Global Asset Management brand platform and oversee brand deployment across all communication channels and business assets.
  • Supervise and manage translations, editing and proofreading of texts. Manage external vendors in related activities.
  • Supervise and manage websites and/or digital hubs oriented to the International segment (internal use and client-facing). Manage content updates, structure improvements, escalate suggestions and complaints, and provide visibility as per tool performance and usage metrics.
  • Lead written and/or verbal presentations and trainings.
  • Support in-country Marketing teams in executing local initiatives and bridge support through global resources.
  • Ensure all marketing and communication pieces for business teams and clients (websites, brochures, fact sheets, newsletters, seminars, invitations, advertisements, etc.) are brand compliant across visual elements, verbiage/tone and manner, logos and disclaimers.
  • Tracking and reporting
  • Maintain tracking of marketing activities and results based on relevant metrics for each activity.
  • Report activities regularly to the Sr. Manager and local/regional business leads.
  • Understand how the Bank\'s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Education / Experience / Other Information
  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing or related discipline and/or extensive experience in Marketing and Communications, 5+ years.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with effective relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a variety of audiences to new points of view.
  • Able to work effectively and independently. Strong ability to meet deadlines.
  • Understand the industry and its compliance regulations and requirements.
  • Strong conceptual abilities and excellent perseverance to solve problems and adapt solutions across a wide range of advisors and client segments.
  • Strong writing skills, experience in creative writing, experience in translation, editing and proofreading of texts.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing disciplines with experience in Marketing Planning, Communications, Branding and Project Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite and Adobe Pro.
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment that can include varying skills/ competencies.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Working Conditions
Work in a standard office-based environment and remotely; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Low international travel may be required.
