Your mission at GardaWorld:

As a member of the GardaWorld security family, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client holdings, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner. You will enjoy regular and diverse interactions, while also being expected to maintain the highest degree of professionalism and customer service when doing so. We are currently looking for a Full- Time Bilingual ( English/French) Security Officer in the Winnipeg area to work at one of our high profile clients

What you\'ll be doing

• Greet, inform, direct and escort the different users and visitors of the premises
• Ensure security for special events (Wedding, Grads, Dinners, etc.)
• Monitor CCTV
• Conduct daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service, report writing/note taking and replacement for vacation book offs
• Perform property inspections
• Responding to Fire Alarm/Emergency Situations
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service
• Desk Duties
• Other duties as assigned by the client, company or Security Manager

What we\'re looking for

• Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard license
• Fluent in English and French, both written and verbally
• 1-3 years of experience is required
• Flexible to work rotating shifts.
• High school education or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills

• Assurer la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 lors d\'\xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa8nements sp\xc3\xa9ciaux (mariage, graduation, congr\xc3\xa8s, etc.)
• Assurer le contr\xc3\xb4le d\'acc\xc3\xa8s et r\xc3\xa9pondre aux appels re\xc3\xa7us par le service de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9
• Coordonner l\'intervention en cas d\'incidents en mobilisant les services d\'urgence et la direction du personnel de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9
• Effectuer des rondes de surveillance pr\xc3\xa9ventives en suivant les proc\xc3\xa9dures \xc3\xa9tablies
• R\xc3\xa9pondre aux alarmes incendie et d\'urgence
• R\xc3\xa9diger des rapports quotidiens et d\'incidents
• Assurer un service \xc3\xa0 la client\xc3\xa8le irr\xc3\xa9prochable
• Toutes autres t\xc3\xa2ches assign\xc3\xa9es par le client, l\'entreprise ou le responsable de la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9
