Dispatcher/Scheduler

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, assess, and prioritize incoming requests within the garage door industry.
• Assign routes to drivers based on availability, skills, and vehicle capacity.
• Monitor real-time vehicle and personnel status to ensure timely service.
• Provide ongoing communication with drivers to offer updates and address any operational challenges.
• Ensure all dispatch operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate schedules and facilitate clear communication with drivers and clients.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize delivery processes and enhance service quality.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar logistics role.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to remain calm and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Bilingual is required
• A clean criminal background check is needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics is a plus.
