Bilingual Critical Incident Response Specialist

Anywhere in Quebec or New Brunswick

Permanent, full time

Hybrid (work from home and onsite)

The opportunity

Responsible for delivering onsite, telephonic and virtual Critical Incident Stress Management intervention after a traumatic workplace event, as well as consultation for CIR and related services.

What you will do:
  • Support clients virtually in the immediate aftermath following a traumatic workplace event;
  • Provide a preliminary assessment of a presenting workplace situation, and coach managers as required;
  • Organize traumatic event support services by interacting with internal clients, external clients and affiliate providers;
  • Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by the Trauma team;
  • Occasionally travel on-site to deliver defusing, debriefing or on-site support for terminations/downsizings.
Who we are looking for:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work;
  • Registration with professional College (when available) or Counselling Association;
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required;
  • Post-masters clinical experience;
  • Group counselling or facilitation experience is required;
  • CISM, CISD or Psychological First Aid training or EMDR certification is an asset;
  • Demonstrated crisis management skills and ability to provide crisis solutions to clients;
  • A valid driver\'s license is required.
Note for Quebec candidates: knowledge of English is required for this position because the holder will be asked, on a regular basis, to interact in English with external or internal parties or to use English applications or software as part of their tasks.
