Bilingual Behaviour Consultant
to join our team in the Campbellton region.
At VIVA, our Behaviour Consultants (BCs) are integral members of the clinical team. Under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor, BCs are responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of individualized intervention programs that support children in reaching their full potential. This role includes conducting assessments, developing personalized learning plans (PLPs), training and supervising clinical staff, and maintaining open communication with families and partners.

Position Summary
The Behaviour Consultant provides supervision and clinical oversight to Behaviour Interventionists working directly with clients. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour workday scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Program Development
Conduct intake, mid-treatment, and discharge assessments, including provincially mandated curriculum-based assessments.
Collaborate with families and community partners to develop Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs).
Write, implement, and monitor individualized intervention programs.
Complete functional behaviour assessments and develop positive behaviour support plans.
Provide parent training aligned with client needs and family priorities.
Supervision & Clinical Development
Oversee client programming for your assigned clinical team.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of Lead Therapists and Behaviour Interventionists.
Support ongoing professional development and assess clinical competency.
Maintain current certification and meet provincial training requirements set by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
Collaboration & Communication
Maintain clear, consistent communication with families and relevant stakeholders.
Support the transition of clients into school settings by preparing detailed transition plans.
Provide clinical oversight for interventions within home and community settings.
Administrative Duties
Follow organizational policies for clinical service delivery.
Manage responsibilities related to scheduling, staff supervision, and monthly reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field.
Bilingualism in French and English is required.
Experience working with preschool-aged children with autism spectrum disorder.
Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with professionalism and integrity.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Must provide a current criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and Department of Social Development prior contact check.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for travel.
