Position Overview



As a

Bicycle Technician,

your primary objective is to ensure the safe and optimal performance of bicycles through expert maintenance and efficient repair. This involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing necessary repairs, while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction and support to our stores' team. Ultimately, the goal is to promote a positive cycling experience and foster customer loyalty.

You will play an integral part as a member of the BBOS team and will get an opportunity to stretch your capabilities by getting involved in multiple activities and tasks. If you love to learn and grow your career, this is the place you are looking for.

Key responsibilities:



Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of bicycles, including adjustments, replacements, and tune-ups. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure the bicycle readiness before we send it to the stores. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper tool usage and maintenance. Provide excellent stores' service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in bicycle maintenance. Manage inventory and assist with ordering parts and supplies as needed. Participate in new team members training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:



Previous experience as a bicycle technician or a related role is preferred. Strong knowledge of bicycle mechanics and repair techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. Certification from a recognized bike mechanic program is a plus. Steel-toe boots. (Will be reimbursed).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
