This role will be responsible for supporting the Financial Performance +Analysis (FP+A) team by developing and maintaining reports that provide insights into the property performance of our clients. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and develop reports that provide actionable information.This hybrid role can be based out of the Toronto or Calgary office , splitting time between the office and working remotely.WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and design reports that provide relevant actionable insights
• Develop, enhance and maintain a suite of reports that provide visibility into key financial and non-financial metrics
• Monitor data quality and accuracy to ensure reports are reliable and trustworthy
• Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes to ensure reports are delivered efficiently and effectively
• Develop, enhance and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into the property performance
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on how to use reports to make data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the data sources are integrated seamlessly with reporting tools
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and reporting
• Responsible for conducting testing, coordinating user acceptance testing and resolving issues/defects
• Manage user access permissions to ensure secure and appropriate access control
• Assist with or lead project management activities
• Other duties as required

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Bachelors degree in commerce, business administration, data/business analytics or related field
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and report writing
• Strong proficiency in building and maintaining reports in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or QlikView with experience in data modeling and transformation using Power Query
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and optimizing complex DAX formulas
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience working with financial data and reporting on financial performance is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritize competing demands
• Experience in a commercial real estate environment an asset
• Experience with AI and machine learning an asset
