Myticas Consulting\'s Ottawa based client is looking for a System Tester for a long term Hypid contract. The Test activities will focus on developing and executing system test protocols and participation in certification activities. System Test activities shall be in accordance with Corporate Safety and Quality policies and practices, and the Engineering Safety and Quality policies and practices. Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized university or community college with an acceptable specialization in computer, electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer science or information systems.
• 3+ years experience in system testing of complex integrated systems (Desktop applications, Server applications and web applications).
• Solid knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and troubleshooting (Agile, SAFe, DevOps, Waterfall).
• Experience and knowledge in security testing techniques and tools. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework.
• Use of test management tools (such as IBM Jazz) for managing test artefacts, defect management and software configuration management.
• Knowledge of Air Traffic Managements systems an asset.
• Develops effective and positive interpersonal relationships through respect for others, fairness, tact, persuasiveness, effective expression, and open communication.
• ISTQB or CSTE certification an asset.
• Effective English language written and verbal communication skills.
