Job Description

MKW Logistics Group is looking to expand! As a driver for our team, you will be responsible for all aspects of product distribution on behalf of MKW Logistics Group's clients, and for providing quality on-site customer service to the customers. If you respond well under pressure and enjoy providing solutions, we want you on our team! This is a full-time position, and the shifts vary between 07:00 - 19:00 Tuesday through Friday with overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery of cases, kegs and other products to various customers throughout Eastern Ontario
Pickup of refillable materials (i.e. empty kegs)
Maintain service quality by following organizational standards
On-site customer service: resolving client questions and concerns
Accurate completion and daily submission of required documentation
Loading and unloading vehicle
Perform pre-trip inspections, daily logs and reporting to ensure fleet standards are met
Perform additional pickups and deliveries as required
Fleet vehicle preventative maintenance

Key Requirements:

Our drivers must have a clean driving record and always possess a valid full G driver's license. We are looking for individuals who value the safety of themselves and everyone around them.
This role is physically demanding, and successful candidates must be able to handle lifting weight upwards of 100 to 150lbs with the help of carts and dollies.
Previous beverage delivery experience is considered an asset
Superior interpersonal and customer service skills which effectively build relationships
Demonstrated team-playing attitude
Exceptional time management skills
Patience and reliability, with the capability to navigate through traffic and road conditions

Working Conditions:

Driving a company vehicle to our clients' customers covering various parts of Eastern Ontario
Working in all weather conditions.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 40 lbs as well as move kegs weighing on average from 80 lbs to 150 lbs - using the proper handling materials (dollies and carts) as well as hand bombing
MKW Logistics Group Inc. falls under the Transportation Sector and therefore our drivers when required are to work up to 50 hours per week under the Local Cartage Drivers and Driver's Helpers act.
