Based out of our Head Office in Saint John, New Brunswick we are currently seeking an Employee Benefits Specialist to work as part of our Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) team which also provides HR data management, reporting, and employee benefit services to our employees.

As an Employee Benefits Specialist, you will be a key team player, providing excellence in benefits support to employees including education throughout the employee life cycle as well as responding to individual inquiries. You will identify improvement opportunities to ensure we are continuously improving our service.

The Role

• Provide a positive onboarding experience for benefit orientation and support services to employees across the JDI organization
• Provide benefit education virtually and in person
• As a team, identify and design effective education strategies and materials
• Work collaboratively with our JDI Human Resource Business Partners
• Support annual benefit enrollment activities
• Ensure timely and accurate transactions
• Leverage technologies to provide effective and efficient customer service

Qualifications:

• Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma
• CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation or willingness to pursue an asset
• Ability to facilitate and educate effectively in-person and virtually
• Ability to travel
• Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
