Reporting to the Manager, Benefits, Retirement and Savings, the Group Benefits & Retirement Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the benefits, wellness and retirement activities.
Provide support on the day-to-day administration of CTC's benefits and retirement programs.
Process and manage invoices related to employee programs including benefits, retirement plans and wellness programs. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all invoicing activities.
Serve as the first point of contact for employees' benefits, retirement and wellness-related questions by providing clear and accurate responses.
Liaise with insurance carrier account reps to resolve claims and administrative issues
Support the cyclical activities such as the annual benefit open enrollment process.
Responsible for the administration of the employee discount programs including addressing employee escalations and issues related to the discount program.
Maintain and distribute communications regarding the benefit, retirement and wellness programs.
Conduct regular audits and generate reports to ensure accuracy of programs and compliance with company policies.
Identify potential issues or discrepancies in the programs.
Proactively raise concerns to address issues promptly while collaborating with team members to determine solutions.
Support on special projects as required.
What you bring
Post secondary education in Human Resources or Business.
Ideal candidate would have 1 to 2 years' experience in working with benefits and retirement and savings programs.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Ability to navigate organizations easily, with a commitment to transaction fulfillment.
Knowledge of benefits, retirement and wellness programs
Demonstrated capability of working seamlessly across multiple employee populations.
Strong ability to collaborate well with others to find solutions.
Strong organization skills with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Workday
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
