DETAILS
Start date: As soon as possible
Three to five shifts per week, including one weekend on two
7.25 hours per shift with a forty-five-minute meal break
Day, evening, and/or night shift

ABOUT THE WALES
The R\xc3\xa9sidence Wales Home is a private, not-for-profit, government-designated, English-speaking retirement home situated in the Eastern Townships. The Wales provides a continuum of care for up to 240 seniors who range from being completely independent to those requiring specialized care, including two micro-milieus for seniors afflicted with dementia, due to the CHSLD Wales Inc. operating under the same roof. The Wales accomplishes its mission of maintaining senior autonomy with a valuable team of 187 skilled employees, over 210 passionate volunteers, and several professional partners.

JOB SUMMARY
As a compassionate Wales caregiver, you will assist residents in their daily activities while respecting and encouraging their autonomy level as established in their care plan. You will use interpersonal skills and flexibility to provide a homelike environment alongside your team.

QUALIFICATIONS
Dipl\xc3\xb4me d\'\xc3\xa9tudes professionnels (DEP) in Institutional and Home Care Assistance
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Principes de d\xc3\xa9placements s\xc3\xa9curitaires des b\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ficiaires (PDSB) training
Ability to speak and understand English
Relevant experience with seniors
