Architectural Millwork is a creative process primarily involving the design, fabrication and installation of beautiful WOOD pieces. Architectural woodworkers create beautiful designs using intricate cuts. An experienced woodworker has a deep knowledge of different design practices, techniques, and cuts, and will use a range of manual and powered tools to create attractive, custom, or semi-custom made woodwork pieces using architectural shop drawings.

You also possess an excellent understanding of shop drawings, machining & assembly methods, installations, specialty hardware and what it means to meet schedules.   • Following company policies and procedures
  • Using the Time Management system
  • Ability to take instruction from Shop Foreman/Senior Benchperson & Project Managers
  • Installing on site
  • Dealing with & solving deficiencies on site
  • Producing detailed deficiency lists and tracking them until complete
  • Accepting delivery of millwork onsite and showing movers placement
  • Communication with management
  • Material Take-Offs and Hardware lists
  • Machining and Assembly
  • Keeping all work areas clean and organized

Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years hands on experience in Cabinet Making and/or Architectural Millwork
  • Ability to read shop drawings
  • Possess own tools
  • Class 5 Drivers licence
  • Self motivated
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organized & detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to lift millwork items to perform tasks onsite
