Pickering Casino Resort is seeking a Full-time Bench Technician!



Under the general direction of the Slot Tech Supervisors, this position will be responsible for troubleshooting defective or inoperable slot machine components including board (PCB) level debugging and fault-finding techniques, and subsequently conducting advanced electrical repairs including fine pitch soldering as required. Bench Technicians must adhere to company policies and procedures and the Internal Control Manual of the Slot Technical Department in order to maintain the integrity of the games and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.



The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities, executing the following in support of the company's vision, mission and values:



Troubleshoot defective or inoperable slot machine components, including board (PCB) level debugging Conduct advanced electrical repairs as required; Responsible for tracking and documenting repairs performed on the slot machines prior to the end of the shift; Keep a record of all spare parts used Perform general and routine maintenance on slot machines in accordance with the maintenance schedule and as needed; Adhere to all safety standards and ensure correct tools are used; Assist in all service requirements for equipment installation and relocation; Other duties as assigned by the Slot Technical Supervisors and/ or Slot Operations Manager; Slot Projects will require travel to other One Toronto locations.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualifications:



A Secondary School diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education with a background in electronics. An IPC-A-610 Standards Certification (CSE Level or above Preferred) 1+ years' hands-on working experience in a Slot Operations. 3+ years' experience conducting special electrical repairs including: Fine Pitch Soldering ICT, SMT and Wave Soldering PCB Fault Finding and Debugging Chip Component Repair Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and managerial skills. Supply Chain Management Experience is an asset. Working knowledge of computer software packages and the ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Candidates must be ready and willing to work at both locations, a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights. The hours of work and location will be based on operational needs. Ready to embark on your next adventure?
