About the Job: -




Responsibilities will include maintaining an even flow of guest's luggage and belongings to and from guest rooms and providing storage of the luggage, providing personal service to guests for their business and concierge needs. This may include faxing, photocopying, valet parking, making sightseeing, dinner and airline reservations and assisting guests with their in-stay requirements.

Job Title: Bell Attendant (Part Time) Reports To: Front Office Manager Department: Front Office

Starting Wage for the position will be CA$17.20 on probation and will increase to CA$19.20 after probation is completed. Further after 6 months the rate will increase to CA$19.60

Qualifications: -



Post secondary degree in tourism or hospitality is preferred. Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License Strong knowledge of the hotel and its surrounding area. Must be able to perform heavy lifting (luggage, packages, boxes) Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, employees and management. Energetic and outgoing, with a positive attitude, driven to provide outstanding guest service. Excellent organizational, computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Daily Tasks: -



Interact effectively with hotel guests and co-workers to create a positive environment. Handle luggage for hotel guests and escort incoming guests to their rooms. Provide information regarding features of rooms, services of hotel and points of interest in the immediate area. Assist guests with special needs such as dinner, tickets, airlines, flowers, etc. Attend to group arrivals and departures. Handle guests' complaints and attend to baggage problems. Maintain luggage storage area. Receive and deliver items and messages for guests. Assist with greeting guests and parking cars. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Management.
