Belgard Kitchen is located at 55 Dunlevy Ave in Railtown, sharing the space with Vancouver Urban Winery. The restaurant offers three different services: Weekday Lunch, Weekend Brunch, and Dinner seven nights a week. Our evening service focuses on shared plates and a family style of eating, fostering an environment where people can enjoy multiple dishes and experience the full menu. As a winery, we highlight our made on-site BC VQA wine on tap as well as 31 other locally tapped BC Wines. In addition to this we carry collaborative house beers from our friends, Four Winds brewery as well as some other rotating guest taps.



We're looking for a dynamic, self-starter who loves to lead by example and embraces a fast-paced, fun and upbeat work environment.

Bartender/Server Qualifications:

We're looking for a passionate hospitality professional--someone who doesn't just clock in and out but truly lives and breathes hospitality. The right person understands that great service isn't just about delivering food and drinks--it's about creating meaningful connections and memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications:

? Hospitality Mindset - You genuinely enjoy taking care of people, whether at work or in everyday life. You anticipate needs, create moments of connection, and thrive in an environment where service is an experience, not just a transaction.



? Bartending/Serving Experience - We are looking for a minimum of 2 years in a fast-paced, high-volume and/or detailed service restaurant or bar setting. Strong cocktail, wine, and beer knowledge is a plus, with an emphasis on BC wine.



? Guest-Focused Approach - You know how to read a table, engage with guests, and create a personalized experience that makes them want to return.



? Strong Work Ethic & Team Player - You show up ready to work, support your team, and take initiative without being asked.



? Adaptability & Problem-Solving - You stay calm under pressure, handle multiple tables with ease, and find solutions on the fly.



? Professionalism & Personality - You bring a balance of polish and authenticity, making guests feel comfortable while maintaining a high standard of service.



? Passion for Food & Beverage - You're excited about what's on the menu, can confidently make recommendations, and enjoy learning about new trends in the industry.



? Availability & Reliability - Nights, weekends, and holidays are part of the job. We need someone who values consistency and accountability.
