Behaviour Technician

Lake Ridge Community Support Services is looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to deliver services in , as part of the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), preparing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to enter school and target skill-building in a group-based program. What's your role?

Implement ABA based behaviour strategies, naturalistic teaching, group-based teaching, back prompting, and generalization and maintenance procedures Deliver group teaching to target the six domains of school readiness (i.e., communication, play, social interaction, functional routines, behaviour self-management, and pre-academics, learning and attention) Implement treatment recommendations from multiple disciplines

What skills are we looking for?

University degree or College Diploma in a relevant field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience working in a childcare setting and/or a group learning environment Experience delivering ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or intellectual disabilities Knowledge of ABA principles and an understanding of child development Enthusiastic and excited to work and communicate in a team environment Able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
