Behaviour Interventionist
Job Description
Job Overview:
If you enjoy working with kids, and helping them develop community engagement skills, then we are looking for someone like you to help provide after school support for our 6 year old son.
Duties:
Pick up from Colwood Elementary @ 2:30pm on thursdays
Bring back to residence (5 min walk) until 4:30pm
Practice home programming provided by speech/occupational therapist
Periodic community engagement activities to support growth of interpersonal skills
Select/create activities for sessions
Qualifications:
19 or older
Highschool diploma
Experience working with children
Understanding of neurodivergence
Ability to follow programs provided by other professionals
Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check
Nice-to-Have Skills:
First aid
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2.5 per week
Work Location: In person
