Behaviour Interventionist

Job Description
We are looking for a patient, friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible individual to work with a sweet 10 year old boy. Some goals we will be working on include creative play, emotional regulation, and communication.
The ideal candidate will work once a week for 2 hour sessions at the family's home.
Current location include: Richmond (Seafair Area)
Current availability: Thursday & Fridays (afterschool time), Saturday & Sunday (morning or afternoon time)
Some of your Responsibilities:
Follow and implement strategies based on an individualized behaviour support plan. Collect simple data and write session notes based on behaviours, observations, and progress from sessions. Work together with other members of the team, parents, and supervising behaviour consultant.
Requirements:
Motivated to learn Is fun, patient, organized, and reliable Clean criminal record check Have some basic training/education in psychology, special education, or a related field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and does not take anything too personally Be willing to commit to 12-months minimum to a family
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
