Join our Provincial Homecare team in Clarenville as a Behavioral Support Aid!

Provincial Homecare is actively hiring for a Behavioral Support Aid to work with clients with extensive behavior's needs.

The position is available for both full-time and part-time work and requires ALL applicants to have a background working with high-level behavioral care plans.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate their experience with behavior disorders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Following the client care plan and ensuring all safety measures are met

- Assisting the client with their daily activities

- Ensuring effective communication with the client by following routines, strategies and care plans.

- Meal preparation, household management, and other needs of the client.

- Ensuring client safety by adhering to Crisis Intervention Training.

Applicants MUST have a clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check and Emergency First Aid.

Applicants with Crisis Intervention & prevention Training (CSI) and Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) are encouraged to apply, however training will be provided to the successful candidate.
