Job Summary
The Before and After School Program Staff plays a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children during their out-of-school hours.
Duties
Work hours is at
7:25-9:25am and 2:45 - 5:45pm (Except on PD days).
Staff is expected to be_ON TIME
_ at all times. Ensure a prompt and safe school walk to and from school. Supervise children in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development, including arts and crafts, sports, tutoring, and educational games. Foster positive relationships with students by encouraging participation and providing guidance in both group and individual settings. Maintain open communication with both parents and management regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the program space to create an inviting environment for all participants.Qualifications
Punctuality and great multi tasking skills is an asset Experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, camp, or educational setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $16.97 per hour
Expected hours: 18 - 20 per week
