Join Our Team! We're hiring a part-time Support & Inclusion Facilitator for our before and after school program. This role focuses on creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for all children, especially those with diverse needs. You'll work closely with a supportive team to provide individualized care, promote positive social interactions, and help adapt activities to ensure every child feels valued and included. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a child's day while fostering a community of belonging and growth.

Provide consistent support to a child with diverse needs, ensuring their full participation in daily activities. Assist in implementing individualized care and support plans, and contribute to their ongoing development and review. Collaborate with the program team to create an inclusive, supportive environment for all children, including those with diverse needs. Contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing review of individualized care and support plans. Promote each child's strengths while supporting areas of growth through inclusive programming and interactions. Maintain enhanced supervision and ensure the child's safety, engagement and well-being at all times. Foster a sense of belonging and inclusion for every child through consistent, compassionate, and strengths-based support.

:Must be at least 19 years of age Experience working with children with diverse needs in a childcare, school, or recreational setting. Ideally with children in the age range of 5-12. Knowledge of inclusive practices, child development, and behavior support strategies. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the needs of the child and program. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Emergency First Aid and CRC - C & AED 20 hours of training in Child Development, Child Guidance and/or Nutrition an asset Successful candidate will be required to provide 3 satisfactory references Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record check with a Vulnerable sector search issued no later than six (6) months preceding the start date.
