Aurora Montessori School is a co-educational Montessori private school located in the heart of Aurora, Ontario, on 14 acres of natural conservation lands. AMS delivers robust Montessori programming to students aged Toddler to Grade 8 in a 36,000 sq. ft facility with multiple state-of-the-art playground areas, an outdoor amphitheatre and outdoor classroom, and a gymnasium with a performance stage, and so much more.

We are currently seeking a RECE Educator for our Before and After School Care Program. This is a split shift position working up to 5 hours per day (7:00 - 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.).

The program runs from September to June.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in a classroom, childcare, or Montessori setting preferred o Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) o Clear Vulnerable Sector Check required Passion for early childhood education and commitment to child-centered learning
