As a Before and After RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator), you will play a vital role in nurturing and guiding children in a safe, engaging environment. You will be responsible for implementing educational programs that promote childhood development, ensuring each child feels valued and supported. What you'll do
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate learning and creativity.
Manage classroom dynamics effectively to foster a positive learning environment.
Provide first aid as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
Support children with special needs through tailored educational approaches.
Engage with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns.
Supervise children during various activities, including outdoor play, arts and crafts, and sports.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance program offerings and share best practices.
Maintain a clean, organized space that promotes exploration and discovery.
Basic qualifications
Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, camps, or tutoring.
Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
First aid certification is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
Background in early childhood education or related fields.
Skills in behavior management to support diverse learning needs.
Experience in Christian counseling or similar supportive roles is a plus.
Familiarity with sports coaching or theater activities to enrich the curriculum.
