Whitmore Park Child Care Co-op is dedicated to creating programming that is developmentally appropriate, building on children's strengths, accomplishments, and abilities. Working as a team with co-workers and families is essential to creating collaborative partnerships that meet the individual needs of each child.

Educators are responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of snacks and meals. There is also some general cleaning required to ensure a safe and clean environment is maintained.

We are currently looking for an educator to join our team working with school-age children, 6 to 12 years old, and casually in our center with 2 to 5 year olds.

WPCCC's School-age program runs from 7:15 - 9:00 am and 2:30 - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday with full days on all school breaks, PD Days, and summer holidays. Educators will walk children to Grant Rd & St Matthews School each day. The right individual is available for a variety of shifts within our operating hours of 6:45am -5:30pm. This position is part time offering 15-30 hours a week. We are closed on weekends and Statutory holidays.

Community services, ECE, and Education students welcome. Flexible scheduling around classes available. First aid certification an asset, must be willing to obtain a current Criminal record check with vulnerable sector before beginning employment.
