Hangar Host

Part Time (4-20 hours per week)

$17.20 per hour

Our stunning Beach Hangar boasts 23,000 square feet of sandy excitement, featuring 6 dive-friendly courts and 30-foot ceilings, plus a licensed, mezzanine level resto-lounge with a bird's eye view of the court action. And the best part? It's always sunny here--no rainouts!

As a Hangar Host, you'll be the heartbeat of our facility during League play. Your mission? Create amazing connections with players, answer their questions, and ensure everyone is having a blast. You'll be the friendly face that makes every visit unforgettable!

Plus, this is a PAID to PLAY gig! All Hangar Hosts get to play for FREE on nights when you're off the clock.

Hangar Hosts are:

Great connectors, able to create a sense of belonging and a positive energy through conversation and observation. Confident and fun individuals, with presence and positive energy. Experienced customer service providers and problem-solvers who are resourceful and take the initiative to address any issues that might arise Loyal, reliable team players who will be champions of the Beach Hangar brand and core values. Experienced sport players, coaches or officials, camp counselors, residence dons or other roles that prioritize people and creating community. Ideally have their Smart Serve to work at our Blue Con Beach Bar, serving players as they finish up their games. Comfortable getting in the sand each shift!
The Hangar Host are responsible for:

Informing players about eveything that's going on at The Beach Hangar and persuading participants to get even more involved! Greeting players as they arrive, and ensure they know where they are going, especially if it is their first time! Keeping the Beach Hangar clean and safe for participants Putting up and taking down required equipment for each sport Filling out relevant reports after each shift Managing game rules and disputes Organizing games and players for various styles of game play.
This is a paid position. In addition, our Hangar Host plays for FREE, on a night they are not hosting. Shifts are between 2 and 6 hours in length depending on the league.
