About The Role




We are looking for a Team Lead to join our Sales BDC department. In this role, you will lead by example, support the team in achieving sales performance targets, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for preparing monthly reports, monitoring performance, and providing key insights to the BDC Manager, while also supporting team training and development.


What We're Looking For




Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to new and existing Sales BDC team members. Facilitate training sessions on sales processes, customer engagement strategies, and software systems. Support onboarding and integration of new sales employees through interviewing, hiring, and orientation. Monitor and analyze weekly and monthly sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales tracking reports for management review. Collect and interpret sales data (unsold opportunities, no-shows, cancellations) to improve outcomes. Provide BDC management with performance reports, training resources, and process documentation. Support the sales team by managing incoming leads and ensuring timely follow-up with prospects. Nurture existing customer relationships and contribute to delivering strong customer experience. Collaborate with Sales Managers to address customer concerns and implement resolution strategies. Gather and analyze data to uncover trends that improve efficiency, productivity, and sales. Define, document, and refine business requirements within the Sales BDC to support store sales processes. Perform administrative functions, including CRM maintenance, dealership reporting, Auto Alert system management, and monthly invoicing.


What You'll Bring




Education & Experience: Minimum College Diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years in customer service, call centre experience is an asset, or experience performing inbound/outbound sales calls. Training and Leadership: Responsible for coaching and mentoring the sales team, as well as handling the hiring and onboarding of new employees. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze and reporting sales metrics, tracking key data points to improve performance. Customer Service Excellence: Strong desire to deliver exceptional service with a proven track record or clear customer-first mindset. Communication Skills: Excellent written English required, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Tech Savvy: Internet savvy with strong computer skills, able to learn new software, and manage sales leads efficiently. Agility & Problem Solving: Quick thinker with strong time management, adaptability, and comfort in fast-paced environments. Team-Oriented Flexibility: Willing to collaborate, pitch in where needed, and work evenings or weekends as scheduled. Ability to learn technology and software solutions Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds (Ignite), AutoAlert and Dealermine is an asset. Experience in automotive is an asset.
