Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious

Batch Maker

to join our adhesives manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and processing raw materials into finished adhesive products following precise formulation guidelines. You will operate and monitor production equipment, ensure quality standards are met, maintain accurate production records, and help keep the workspace clean and safe. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

Responsibilities



Batch Processing:

Operate and monitor mixing and formulation equipment used in adhesive production, ensuring consistency in viscosity, curing properties, and overall product quality. Adjust mixing speeds, temperatures, and other processing parameters as needed to maintain adherence to product specifications.

Equipment Operation:

Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot adhesive production units, following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to minimize downtime and maintain high productivity levels.

Quality Assurance:

Collect and document samples from different stages of the production process for quality analysis. Use in-process instruments to monitor and record measurements and process variables that affect the chemical and physical properties of the adhesives.

Record Keeping:

Maintain detailed production logs, batch records, and ingredient usage reports to ensure traceability and compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Safety and Maintenance:

Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Clean work areas and equipment regularly to prevent contamination and ensure a secure and efficient working environment.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and production teams to identify and resolve production challenges and to continuously improve process performance and product quality.

Process Optimization:

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing adhesive formulations and production efficiency, including proposing changes based on production data and feedback.

Qualifications



Previous experience in batch making, chemical processing, or adhesives manufacturing preferred Ability to accurately follow written instructions, formulation cards, and safety protocols Comfortable operating mixers, pumps, scales, and other production equipment Strong attention to detail with basic math and measurement skills Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a production environment
