MC Elite Basketball / MC Prep Basketball is an up and coming AAU and Prep basketball organization in the Greater Toronto Area. As we continue our journey to build our organization, we are looking for enthusiastic, positive, and knowledgable basketball coaches to help pave the way for the next generation. - Prep Basketball Coach (September 2025 - March 2026) (Ages 14-17): Prep basketball team, 2 two hour practices per week, 10 weekends of games.
The role comes with both the autonomy and responsibility to manage your own team and develop players according to your experience. Duties include:
- Develop and implement practice plans focused on skill improvement, game strategies, and physical fitness.
- Coach and manage the team during games, practices, and tournaments.
- Foster a positive team culture, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and respect.
- Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
- Organize and coordinate team schedules, including practices, games, and tournaments (You will be helped with this).
- Ensure player safety by enforcing proper techniques and adherence to game rules.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and organization staff regarding team goals and expectations.
- Promote an inclusive environment where all players feel valued and supported.
