Rush Basketball

is Midtown Toronto's newest premier youth basketball organization, dedicated to developing the next generation of competitive athletes through an exceptional basketball experience. Launching in Fall 2025, RUSH will provide a comprehensive development pathway that includes our flagship Spark Development League, Rookie Ball Programs, Camps, & Clinics.

Our mission is simple:

help young athletes excel on the court and grow into leaders off of it, while building a strong foundation of fundamentals, skill development, and basketball IQ to prepare players for success at the highest levels.

Role Description



RUSH Basketball is searching for a high-energy, dynamic, and passionate basketball person to lead the Club through its inaugural season and beyond. For the first season, this role will be part-time during evenings and weekends, offering ideal flexibility to candidates who are currently working full-time during the day. As the Club evolves, we expect this position to become a full-time role with a competitive salary, benefits, and growth opportunities.

As the Club Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Club, including:

Sales & Growth:

develop a strong sales and marketing plan to impact as many players as possible, relying on community outreach, school programs, camps, clinics, and more.

Programming

: develop and manage the Club's curriculum and development plan, ensuring players are exposed to best-in-class training philosophies and practice plans.

Operations

: manage the majority of the Club's business operations, including customer service, staffing, registration management, payroll, and minor HR.

Content & Marketing

: develop and manage the Club's content and marketing strategy, including overseeing community events, newsletter marketing, social media marketing, website upkeep, and more.

Resources

: manage the Club's resources, including facilities, equipment, apparel, budget, and more.

Qualifications



5+ years in youth basketball coaching 10+ years of combined basketball experience (playing, coaching, etc) Experience and network connections within the Ontario Basketball Landscape Strong knowledge of modern coaching philosophies and development techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper email and customer service etiquette Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
