Basil & Microgreen Packaging Assistant
Job Description
Fresh Forage Farms ltd is a vertical farm located just outside of the City of Winnipeg close to La Barriere Park. We grow a large variety of microgreens, edible flowers, and herbs such as basil. Our facility is full of plants growing and blooming as well as weekly planting of microgreens.
Shift starting times (hours depend on volume being shipped)
Monday: 10 am
Tuesday: 5:30 am
Thursday: 5:30 am
Friday: 5:30 am
Primary duties: packaging basil and microgreens into bulk bags and retail clamshells
Must have reliable transportation (no buses in the area)
Good hygiene and familiar with working in a food safe environment
Must speak English
Reliable and punctual. Its a great job for those that enjoy being around plants and prefer routines.
Looking to fill right away (July 7th)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
