Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with excellent time management skills and a solid understanding of food safety standards. The bartender will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our establishment while fostering positive guest interactions.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments and giving change Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking Handle serving duties responsibly, adhering to all legal requirements related to alcohol service

Skills

Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms Strong background in restaurant or food service environments Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor conducive to hospitality roles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$22.21 per hour
