Overview

AMCC is a friendly, community-driven curling club with a busy lounge during league nights, bonspiels, and special events. We're looking for personable, responsible bartenders who can deliver great service, keep the bar running smoothly, and help make every visit feel like a night out with friends. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving patrons, and ensuring that all guests have an exceptional experience while adhering to food safety and handling standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with members, taking orders, and delivering drinks in a timely manner. Operate the POS system efficiently for order entry and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Minimum legal serving age; Smart Choices certification (or obtained within 30 days) Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between food and beverage offerings. Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices related to beverage preparation and serving is essential.
