Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all payments are processed correctly. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service for all customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred; bartending experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of various drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices. Proficient in cash handling and experience with POS systems is advantageous. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs. A passion for hospitality and helping others is essential for success in this role.
