Job Description

Six Acres is hiring a Bartender/Server who is confident on both the bar and the floor, with strong service standards and a professional work ethic. Our team is small, supportive, and communicates well -- we work closely together and rotate shifts fairly. We're a busy Gastown spot, so being able to think fast, adapt quickly, and stay warm under pressure is key.

Cocktail knowledge preferred. Day and night availability required.

What the job looks like:

A mix of bartending and serving shifts (AM & PM) Making cocktails, pouring drinks, running food, and taking tables Helping with opening, closing, stocking, and daily tasks Keeping the bar and venue clean and organized Working closely with a small team that communicates well and supports each other

What You Bring

Bartending or serving experience Confidence moving between bar and floor Strong communication and multitasking skills Trustworthy, adaptable, and a fast learner Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Confident handling cash transactions and end-of-day reports Knowledge of POS systems Eager to grow and take on more responsibility Cocktail knowledge or willingness to learn Available for both day and night shifts Valid Serving It Right
