Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and providing excellent service to our patrons.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of beverages and supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role in the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage preparation techniques. Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Food handling certification is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
