We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and food handling.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes and customer preferences Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service Use POS systems like Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Manage cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor Must be at least 18 years old or older, depending on local regulations
