We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for following beverage recipes, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Adhere to food safety standards and maintain compliance with health regulations regarding food handling. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

Skills

Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and drink measurements. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Experience in restaurant or bar settings, demonstrating knowledge of food service operations. Understanding of food safety practices related to food handling and preparation. Previous bartending experience is preferred, showcasing an ability to craft cocktails and mixed drinks. Excellent hospitality skills, with a focus on creating positive customer interactions. Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions effectively.
