Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes and customer preferences Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring an excellent customer experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol service policies Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Comply with all food safety and food handling regulations, including proper sanitation practices Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills during busy hours Assist with serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cashiering platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Must be at least 18 years old or older, depending on local regulations for alcohol service Hospitality experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
